Kreative KI

Beschreibung

"We argue from a theological perspective that novels provide a fertile ground for fostering creative scenarios and thought experiments about AI creativity. Ian McEwan’s novel „Machines Like Me and People Like You“ serves as a basis for explorations of possible creativity of AI. In fiction, thinking can be even more experimental, so the novel’s main characters inspire us to think through the question of AI creativity to an end. It is used as a springboard for examining AI creativity from literary and techno-philosophical perspectives. By drawing parallels between the novel’s concepts of AI creativity and technological posthumanism, we explore the techno-philosophical implications that the novel constructs. Additionally, we highlight the role of subjectivity in AI systems and draw attention to the often overlooked and underpaid work of individuals from the Global South in AI systems and discussions surrounding autonomous/artificial/automated creativity. Our contribution seeks to offer new perspectives on the potential and challenges of AI creativity." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
