Minimum wage evaluation using the IAB Establishment Panel

Kurzbeschreibung
In 2015, a general minimum wage will be implemented in Germany. To evaluate the effect of this
fundamental wage setting policy, we aspire evaluation studies using the IAB Establishment Panel. New
questions in the 2014 and 2015 waves of the IAB Establishment Panel capturing the affectedness of establishments
by the minimum wage allow for evaluation analyses. Hence, the data allows identifying the
causal effect of the minimum wage legislation on establishment level adjustments.

Ziel des Projekts ist der Erkenntnisgewinn über Auswirkungen des Mindestlohns aus betrieblicher Sicht. Wissenschaftlich werden englische und deutschsprachige Publikationen angestrebt.
