The effects of Turkish accession to the EC on population and the labour market

Der Artikel diskutiert demographische und arbeitsmarktbezogene Aspekte eines türkischen EG-Beitritts für die Bundesrepublik. Er nimmt dabei Bezug auf Projektionen des IAB zur Entwicklung des Erwerbspersonenpotentials bis 2030. Ab 2000 könnte eine schrittweise Herstellung der Freizügigkeit für Türken sinnvoll sein, um den Rückgang des deutschen Potentials auszugleichen. (IAB)
