Dr Ann-Christin Bächmann

Professional background
Ann-Christin Bächmann (née Hausmann) studied Socioeconomics (B.A. and M.Sc.) at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg from 2006 to 2012. Afterwards, she worked as a scientific employee in the research department "Education and Employment over the Life Course" and in the research group "Occupational Labour Markets" at the IAB. In 2019, she successfully obtained her PhD. In 2020, she began working as a PostDoc at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories in Bamberg. Since September 2023, she has been a research associate at the Research Data Centre (FDZ) of the Federal Employment Agency (BA) at the IAB. Her research interests include the field of gender inequalities and family sociology as well as occupational research.
