The Research Management unit supports the Directorate of the IAB by supervising and coordinating the various different research departments and optimizing internal research services. It develops the organisation further by providing comprehensive guidelines and policies and advising the Institute's Directorate in strategic issues. Moreover, consulting in legal matters of research - in particular concerning data protection - is part of its responsibilities.
