Working Group

Tasks

The working group connects IAB researchers whose work examines the topic of vocational education and training from different perspectives. It deals with questions of macroeconomic and regional conditions, the role of vocational education and training institutions (dual vocational training, school-based training, academic studies) and the vocational training market, young people's choice of occupation and vocational training aspirations, interest and investment in vocational training by enterprises, and measures to promote vocational training. The working group's objective is to pool expertise at the IAB through a regular exchange on current research projects.
