Professional background

Wolfgang Braun studied German literature and language and sociology at the Friedrich Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. From 1988 to 1997 he was a member of the editorial staff/editor at BW Bildung und Wissen Verlag und Software GmbH in Nuremberg. In 1997 Mr Braun moved to the W. Bertelsmann Verlag in Bielefeld where, among other things, he was responsible for the section providing information on occupations and studies. From 2002 to 2004 he taught in the Department of Print and Media at the Senne Vocational College in Bielefeld. Wolfgang Braun was the IAB Press Officer from 2004 to September 2020. In October 2020 he was appointed to join the Directorate team and work in Public Affairs in a new capacity.

Activities
