Functions at the IAB
Professional background
Lidwina Gundacker is a migration and integration researcher with a background in sociology, politics and economics. She obtained her interdisciplinary background at the University College London (MA), Charles University Prague (MA), and Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen (BA). Since 2018, Lidwina Gundacker is a researcher at the research department “Migration and International Labour Studies” at the IAB. She is responsible for the TRANSMIT project and is involved in all aspects of the project’s data collections in Lebanon and Turkey. In her research, she targets the integration processes of refugees, the selectivity of migration processes as well as methodological aspects of data collection and data quality.
