Abstract

The project DeZIM-Research Networking (DeZIM.FV) aims at the structural promotion of the cooperation between the DeZIM Research Community and the DeZIM Institute. In order to strengthen migration and integration research in Germany, the IAB is part of the research community of the German Centre for Integration and Migration Research (DeZIM), which networks with the DeZIM Institute (DeZIM-I) and research institutes of related fields. In addition to the IAB and the DeZIM-I, the members of the DeZIM Research Community (DeZIM-FG) include the following institutes: Berlin Institute for Integration and Migration Research (BIM), Institute for Interdisciplinary Research on Conflict and Violence (IKG), Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies (IMIS), Interdisciplinary Centre for Integration and Migration Research (InZentIM), Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES) and Berlin Social Science Center (WZB). By filling research networking positions in the participating institutes, the cooperation between the institutes is strengthened.
