Professional background

Anja Bauer studied economics at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg from 2006 to 2011 completing her (Doctoral) Master of Science in Economics (M.Sc.) in 2011. Ms. Bauer has been a researcher at IAB since October 2011 and a scholarship holder of the IAB Graduate Programme from 2012-2014. In 2015 she finished her Ph.D. (Dr. rer. pol) at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Currently she is working as a senior researcher at the department “forecasts and macroeconomic analyses”. In 2014 she visited the University of Melbourne (Australia), in 2015 the University of Queensland (Australia) and in 2017 the University of Cambridge (UK).
