Abstract

"In preparation for the 2023/2024 Annual Report of the German Council of Economic Experts, the IAB was asked for its expertise on the situation and the development of the German labor market, including the integration of the refugees from Ukraine, the role of labor market shortages and the development of short-time work, as well as an assessment of wage settlements and effects of insolvencies.
