Assessment of the IAB regarding the economic situation

Abstract

Each month, the "Assessment of the IAB on the economic situation" explains the current state of the economy and sketches structural specificalities as well as influences relevant to the labour market. Important (early) indicators of the German economy and foreign economic context are analysed and interpreted, such as the development and structure of the gross domestic product and forerunning indicators such as business expectations and consumer propensity.
