Professional background
Dr. Julia Schmidtke received her doctoral degree in 2024 from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU).
Since February 2020, she works in the “Active Labour Market Policies and Integration” research department at the IAB.
Her research interests lie in the field of empirical labor economics, particularly in the areas of well-being, unemployment, and counseling and placement processes.
