Professional background
Franziska Riepl completed her PhD in economics at the Graduate School for Economics, Finance, and Management at Goethe University Frankfurt in 2026. Prior to that, she obtained a bachelor's degree in economics with a minor in political science at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (USA).
She has been a research assistant in the Establishments and Employment unit at the IAB since 2025 and previously worked at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center and at Goethe University Frankfurt.
Her primary research interests are labor and education economics.
