Professional background

Kseniia Gatskova has been a senior researcher in the Research Department “Migration, Integration, and International Labour Studies” at the IAB since April 2023.

Previously, she was a senior researcher at the IOS Regensburg (2011 - 2023) and a lecturer at the OTH Regensburg (2015 - 2016). She studied sociology at the University of Konstanz and completed her PhD at the Chair of Empirical Social Research in 2013.

Her research interests relate to labour market and occupational research, migration and integration, social inequalities, gender inequalities, and family sociology.
