Using (Prepaid-)Voucher Incentives for Recruiting an Online Panel

Abstract
This research project investigates the efficacy of voucher incentives in increasing participation rates in online surveys and reducing data collection costs. While postpaid vouchers are already employed as an incentive, the effectiveness of prepaid vouchers in this context remains largely unexplored. The experiment will test various voucher incentive strategies, including prepaid and postpaid vouchers, in order to evaluate their impact on response rates, panel registrations, and cost per respondent. The findings of this study are expected to make a significant contribution to the development of a cost-efficient panel recruitment strategy.
