Functions at the IAB
Professional background
Marcel Müller studied Sociology and Economics (B. A.) at the University of Mainz from 2018 to 2021. Afterwards he studied Socioeconomics (M. Sc.) at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg until 2023.
Since December 2023, he has been working as a research assistant in the research department “Panel Labour Market and Social Security” at the IAB.
His responsibilities include the design of the “Labour Market and Social Security” panel as well as quality assurance and development of the survey instrument for the "Quality of Life and Social Security" study. He is also part of the field preparation team, which works on the further development of the survey design and liaises with the contracted survey institute.
