Professional background
Michele Dinelli obtained his Bachelor’s degree in “Economics, Markets and Institutions” from the University of Bologna and also spent an exchange semester at the University of Barcelona. He then completed a Master’s degree in Economics at the University of Mannheim.
Since November 2025, he is a Research Associate at the IAB within the research group “Occupations in the Transformation”. In parallel, he works as a Research Associate at the Chair of Labor Market and Occupational Research at FAU. Previously, he was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Mannheim and an intern at ZEW Mannheim.
His research interests include labor and public economics, with a particular focus on the effect of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, on occupational change and labor market transformation.
