Neuabgrenzung der Fördergebiete der Gemeinschaftsaufgabe "Verbesserung der regionalen Wirtschaftsstruktur" ab 2007
Abstract
"The German promotion areas are newly delimited by the Joint Task 'Improvement of the Regional Economic Structure' in regular intervals. For this purpose different indicators are linked to form a comprehensive indicator model, and the promotion needs of the regions are determined using a threshold value defined by the European Commission. For the first time the comparison of all German regions could take place for the coming re-designation of the German promotion areas from 2007 in a model, in which the labour market and income indicator - as in the past - forms the focus. This includes on the one hand the average unemployment rate for several years and on the other hand the gross annual wage per employee, which were calculated by the Institute for Labour Market and Profession Research in collaboration with the Steinbeis Transfer Centre for Applied Systems Analysis. Also a re-designation of the labour market regions has become necessary in the Berlin and Brandenburg area with a separation of the city of Berlin from the surrounding area of Brandenburg against the background of the guidelines of the European Commission in connection with the next promotion period from 2007 until 2013."
