Implementation of §16i of the SGB II Participation Opportunities Act by the Job Centres: Between social labour market and integration instrument

Abstract

"Since the introduction of the Participation Opportunities Act (Teilhabechancengesetz), §16i of Book II of the Social Code (SGB II) has provided a wage subsidy at the disposal of Job Centres, that comes close to the core idea of a social labour market.
