Abstract

The Live-Version www.iab.de was thoroughly evaluated using status-quo analysis. The focus was on identifying barriers to use and stumbling blocks in navigation along with the causes of these. The central goals were: the optimization of user-friendliness and of the user value of content/functions; high user satisfaction; a decrease in the amount of frustration and uncertainty felt and in the efforts needed to learn the system; a reduction in support costs; and, the optimization of accessibility.
