IAB's publication strategy and media concept

Abstract
As methods of scientific communication are constantly changing, IAB needs to review its communication strategy and the way this is implemented at regular intervals. Here one must bear in mind that new forms of communication and new formats have opened up new possibilities and that these can also awaken new expectations on the part of the reader or user as regards the way IAB communicates. Equally, the communication requirements of IAB can change with the strategic and political course of the Institute and/or new forms and formats of communication. Against this background, the WMK (Scientific Media and Communication Strategies Service Department) has revised the sphere of work "IAB's own media/media concept" entrusted to it. The publication strategy and the media concept used for IAB's own media up to now will be reviewed in respect to their relevance and currentness and will be brought up to date or further developed, if necessary.
