Tasks
At IAB, research is not an end in itself. The methods, content and results of the research work at the institute have to be processed in a way that does justice to interests and must be disseminated in a targeted manner. The Service Department "Media and Communication" (MK) develops strategies, concepts and instruments to facilitate internal and external communication and carries these out. In doing so, it constantly orients itself on the information requirements of its target groups in academic, professional and public circles.
The Service Department MK is responsible for the conceptional and editorial supervision and design of the print and online media of IAB, including its Internet and Intranet presence. In addition to this, the conception and development of communication and distribution media, the (joint) organisation and editorial processing of events as well as the promotion and spreading of offers of data, information and services of the institute are also among its tasks. To do this, MK also uses social media platforms such as XING and YouTube.
