Qualifications and occupational projections by means of a simple input-output approach

Abstract

"The authors present a simple input-output approach with which projections on the demand and supply sides of the labour market relating to the qualifications and occupations of persons in employment can be formalized and tuned to suit each other. By way of example, the findings of the balancing out of the two sides of the markets for the middle level of qualifications are discussed." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku)
