Szenarien über die Erhöhung der Erwerbsbeteiligung in den Bundesländern

Abstract

"The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has commissioned the QuBe cooperation project to analyse the effects of three scenarios on the regional labour markets. Scenario 1 (“Women”) looks at the effects of increased female labor force participation on the highest level of labor force participation in this group in the federal states. In scenario 2 (“Older people”), the labor force participation of older people (60 to under 75 years) is increased to the highest labor force participation level in this group in the federal states. Scenario 3 (“Persons without German citizenship”) increases the labor force participation of non-German citizensto the highest labor force participation level in this group in the federal states. The scenarios do not provide information on how an increase in labor force participation can be achieved, but rather show the mathematical potential for possible measures. In order to be able to mobilise the additional number of potential workers, appropriate measures must be taken.
