Abstract

"The study on establishments in the Covid 19 crisis (BeCovid) is a telephone panel survey. The focus was on information about the economic situation of the companies as well as developments regarding the delivery, sales and employment situation. From a labour market policy perspective, measures taken to flexibly adjust labour demand to the development of the economic situation were of particular interest. Here the focus was on hiring and firing behaviour, the use of the instrument of short-time work, training and further education behaviour, health protection at the workplace or also the use of home office. But also developments regarding testing and vaccination strategies of the companies were taken into focus." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
