Abstract

Up to now, the data from the IAB Establishment Panel were collected using a paper pencil questionnaire, which was usually completed with the support of interviewers. From 2019 the data acquisition of the IAB Establishment Panel is to be partly converted to a computer-supported acquisition. The effect of a computer-assisted survey on the participation rate is to be determined in 2018 through an experiment with new companies to be surveyed.
