Quality of employment in newly founded establishments

Abstract
We examine the emplyoment decisions of newly founded firms with those of incumbent firms. One focus is on the impact of the quality of employment on the survival and success of the new firms. We further investigate the employment biographies to answer the question whether in newly founded firms there are more employees with unstable or interrupted biographies.
