Abstract

The project aims to monitor the inflow of migrants to Germany with a special focus on asylum seekers and refugees. The monitoring is based on data on migrants who are surveyed in the asylum seekers and refugees sample conducted by IAB, DIW and BAMF. The monitoring covers descriptive analyses and in-depths reports. The topics of these reports are agreed between IAB and BMAS depending on current developments. Potential issues adressed in the reports will be education levels and other abilities of refugees, various aspects of their Integration into labour markets and the Impacts of labour market- and other Integration policies.
