Abstract

The project examines the impact of informal caregiving on the caregiver's employment status. To this end, survey data on informal caregiving activities are linked with administrative data. This makes it possible to identify the socio-demographic characteristics of caregivers. In addition, we analyze whether changes in the caregiver's employment can be observed after the start of caregiving, e.g., a reduction working hours or a change of profession.
