Abstract

This research project uses a total survey error approach to examine various sources of survey error in the IAB Job Vacancy Survey. The focus is on differences between survey modes. The effects of the different sources of error, measurement error, unit nonresponse bias, and item nonresponse bias, are identified separately and compared across survey modes. For this purpose, this research project will rely on the mode experiments in the fourth quarter of 2020 and the first quarter of 2020 in the IAB Job Survey.
