Project

Transitions into employment and the Business cycle

Project duration: 31.12.2019 to 29.06.2024

Abstract

This project analyses transition of university graduates into employment. Specifically, the project empirically assesses the hypothesis that unfavourable entry conditions are associated with a delayed entry into employment and a longer duration of initial unemployment. Moreover, the project analyses whether the effect of unfavourable entry conditions differs between men and women. The empirical analysis uses data from the "European Union Statistics on Income and Living Conditions" (EU-SILC).
