Die Auswirkungen der Covid-19 Krise auf junge Unternehmen
Project duration: 03.08.2020 to 31.12.2021
Abstract
The economy has not yet experienced a crisis like the Covid-19 crisis. Never before have large parts of companies been forced by the legislator to stop production. Particularly affected are young companies, many of which have not yet been able to build up reserves that would allow them to survive a long period of inactivity. The forced time-out often poses an existential threat to these companies. Therefore, the research project focuses on companies that have come through the crisis comparatively successfully. Here we are interested in which strategies have been applied, how business objectives have been adjusted and what influence regional differences, for example in the institutional set-up, exert. Two special surveys of the IAB-ZEW Start-up Panel, which will replace the usual panel wave in 2020, serve as a data Basis.
