Project duration: 01.10.2016 to 31.12.2026
Abstract
This project focuses on the effects of spatial concentration of workers and firms. It analyses the significance of different mechanisms that give rise to agglomeration economies. The project aims at providing new insights with regard to the importance of the regional environment for individual labour market success and competitiveness of firms. In our empirical analysis we make use of detailed information on employment relationships, workers, firms and the regional context.
