Trade, firms, and the wage structure
Project duration: 28.02.2015 to 31.05.2019
Abstract
In this project, we investigate the effects of increased trade with China and Eastern Europe on the structure of firms, tasks, and wages. We address the following questions. Which firms benefit from the increased trade with the East, and which firms lose? Does increased trade increase the demand for abstract tasks und does it increase wage inequality? This project is a follow-up project of projects 1268 and 1071.
