Abstract

Each month, IAB describes the current economic situation and sketches structural specialities as well as specific impacts relevant for the labour market. We provide an analysis and interpretation of important indicators on the German as well as world-wide economy, such as the development and structure of real GDP or the development of leading indicators as, for example, business expectations and consumer sentiment. The report is used to support the monthly press release of the Federal Employment Agency.
