Abstract

Based on data from the IAB Establishment Panel 2023, we examine how various parameters of company-based training (proportion of companies entitled to provide training, proportion of companies providing training, take-up rate) have currently developed and how they present themselves in individual sectors and size classes. We also pay particular attention to the failure to fill training places and present findings on the reasons for this and on company strategies to increase the attractiveness of training.
