Abstract

The merging of the German Job Vacancy Data with adminstritative data of the Federal Employment Agency is an important step to a better quality of both data sources. In a first step, we will evaluate to what extend sampling, measurement and weighting errors occure. We can proceed from the assumption that both data sources deliver information for a better understanding of the demand side of the labour market. Through a connection of both systems, we expect to reduce systematic shortcomings and strenghten the informativeness of both data sources.
