Abstract

The BMAS projects on the Skilled Labour Immigration Act will be carried out for a further three years. The subject of the research project is the evaluation of the reforms to the Skilled Labour Immigration Act (‘Act and Ordinance on the Further Development of Skilled Labour Immigration’). To this end, there is cooperation between the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) and the Research Centre of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF-FZ), as well as the BMAS and the BMI as third-party funders. The following topics are covered in the evaluation: (1) migration effects, (2) administrative implementation, (3) integration, (4) abuse.
