Worker-Firm Matching over the Carrer and Differences between Occupations

Abstract
The aim of this project is to assess how the matching between worker and firm develops along the job ladder and whether there are differences in this development between occupations. We suppose that the strenght of matches increases with the number of a worker's job changes. Additionally, we hypothesize that there are occupations for which this development is more/less distinct. We evaluate our hypotheses by using the AKM wage decomposition method with administrative IEB data.
