Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the influence of the share of female employment in the neighborhood on the labor market integration of female refugees. Using a new georeferenced data set on 1x1 km grid cell level, we have the possibility to compare similar neighborhoods with and without an inflow of refugees in 2015. We use different levels of female employment in the grid cells to provide evidente on the labor market integration of refugee women.
