The workshop will feature empirically-oriented research examining factors that impede the smooth functioning of labor markets and/or policy interventions that correct for or exacerbate these frictions. Specifically, the objective of the workshop is to discuss recent developments in the following research areas:

- Labor Shortages
- Information Deficiencies in the Labor Market
- Collective Bargaining, Unions, Codetermination
- Minimum Wages
- Employment Protection Legislation
- Anti-Discrimination Legislation
- Other Labor Market Frictions or Labor Market Institutions

Decisions of acceptance will be announced during July, 2025.
Conference fee and traveling Costs
There is no workshop fee. The IAB will cover coffee breaks, lunch on both days and the workshop dinner.
