The European Labour Market Barometer stagnates at 99.9 points in September. The leading indicator of the European Network of Public Employment Services and the IAB thus remains just below the neutral mark of 100 points. The component forecasting unemployment rises slightly by 0.1 points to 99.8 points. The employment component falls by 0.1 points below the neutral mark to 99.9 points. "There is no crisis in the European labour market, but also nothing more than stagnation," reports Enzo Weber, IAB head of forecast. The European labour market shows resilience, yet there is no clear recovery given pressures from trade and energy.
