The European labour market barometer provides an outlook for the development of the European labour market in the next three months. In June 2022, component A (unemployment) stands at 101.5 points; component B (employment) stands at 104.2 points; the European labour market barometer averages both components and stands at 102.9 points. Values above 100 signal a positive outlook, values below 100 signal a negative outlook.The European Labour Market Barometer took a downward turn in June 2022. The labour market leading indicator of the European Network of Public Employment Services and the IAB dropped 1.3 points compared to May, currently standing at 102.9 points. It still remains at a good level, however.
