The European Labour Market Barometer rose by 0.2 points in March compared with the previous month, but at 99.8 points it remains below the neutral mark of 100 points. Both components of the leading indicator by the European Network of Public Employment Services and the IAB rose slightly. The employment component rose marginally by 0.1 points to 100.2 points, whilst the component forecasting unemployment rose by 0.2 points to 99.3 points.
