Anil Özerdogan

Professional background
Anil Özerdogan studied economics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (B. Sc.) and at the Ruprecht-Karls-University (M. Sc.) in Heidelberg. During his studies, he worked at the Department of Distributional Analysis and Policy at the Hans Böckler Foundation's Institute for Economic and Social Research and at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in the Department for the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Since August 2024, he has been a research associate in the research department “Panel Study Labour Market and Social Security” at the IAB.
His research interests include redistribution preferences, long-term unemployment and the impact evaluation of labour market policies.
