Professional background
Johanna Mauer studied Political Science, German Language and Literature, Sociology, and Ethics of Textual Cultures at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen, where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees. There, she also passed the First State Examinations for teaching in German and Social Studies. Her main areas of interest included discourse analysis and media ethics, as well as political theory and philosophy.
Since September, she has been an intern in the Service Department `Media and Communication´ (MK) of the IAB.
