Luisa Hammer

Professional background
Luisa Hammer holds a B. Sc. in Economics from the University of Cologne and a M. Sc. in Public Economics from Freie Universität Berlin. She is also pursuing her doctorate there.
She has been a research associate in the Research Department Migration, Integration and International Labour Market Research at IAB since January 2024. Prior to that, she worked as a research assistant at Freie Universität Berlin (2019-2024). Previous professional stations include the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), the Bundesbank and the German Bundestag.
Her research interests lie in labour market and occupational research, particularly with regard to migration, wage and employment differences between women and men, and family economics.
