Professional background

Emilie Dobrovolski completed her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology at Friedrich-Alexander- University in Erlangen-Nuremberg and graduated with a Master’s degree in Sociology in March 2022.

Since June 2022, she has been working as a research associate in the Unemployment and Participation Research Unit at the IAB.

Currently, she is engaged in the research project "Refugees from Ukraine on their way into German labor society“. Her research interests include forced migration, sociology of everyday life, gender, and qualitative research methods.
