The leading indicator from the European Network of Public Employment Services and the IAB is not making any progress in August either. The European Labour Market Barometer remains at 99.7 points for the fourth consecutive month. "Without an economic boost, European labor markets will continue to stagnate," explains Enzo Weber, IAB head of forecast. The unemployment component stagnates, as in the previous month, in slightly negative territory at 99.3 points. The employment component rises minimally by 0.1 points to 100.1 points.
